The Spiritual Pinecone

The spiritual pine tree does not play by the same rules as its cousins. This tree only spreads its seeds when the pinecone catches on fire. The cone must reach 350 degrees before it opens and allows its seeds to fall to the ground. The ash from the burnt tree will provide the perfect environment for the seeds to grow. The tree grows in a way that will encourage the fire to burn. The limbs grow very low to the ground; this way a hot ash will be able to reach the limbs. The pinecones grow very close to the inside of the tree. This way when the fire goes up the tree it will reach the pinecones easily.
